It hadn't been the greatest weekend ever for Marie. She had said goodbye to Jamie for the summer, watched a lot of her friends graduate and then watched the school get blown up. Marie dropped her duffel on the floor and collapsed on her bed. She was having fun at Xavier's, but it certainly wasn't Fandom. She was very glad that the Professor and Scott had agreed to let her come back to Fandom for graduation weekend at least.

Marie woke up early at 50A Minotaur Lane. The memories of her weekend made her chuckle to herself, but she quietly slipped out of the house, leaving a note for Wilson and Phale that she would call them later in the week and see them at graduation the following weekend ( Read more... )

Marie was finished with all of her finals, so she was going through her closet and trying to figure out what she should pack to take with her to New York.

She was also trying to figure out how to tell Jamie and Willow that she would be going away for part of the summer.

Jamie's suggestion of calling Professor Xavier to talk to him about the recent developments she had experienced was a good one. Marie had needed some time to sort out her thoughts on everything, but she was ready to talk to him now and see if he might have some thoughts or advice. She dialed the number and waited for him to answer.
